In every scene of The Upward Drift, two voices respond to the same moment from opposite directions — Echo, who drifts toward comfort, and Nova, who's already moving toward what's next.

The Distance is about the version of goodbye that doesn't happen all at once. It's the quiet that grows in the same room, long before either of you says it out loud. It's the conversation you keep rehearsing and never having, and the strange relief that shows up the moment you finally do. Any relationship ending — romantic, family, friendship — in any form it takes.
